	8-1/2" x 11" Sheet Music Individual Sheet Music Reprint From a Publication with Copyright Date of 1922 or earlier

Individual reprints are black and white replicas of sheet music published in 1922 or earlier. In addition to all pages of the sheet music, we clearly show the copyright notice enlarged enough to be clearly readable. When the sheet music is reprinted from a book, each reprint shows the book cover, title page, copyright notice, and entire index of the book where the song was published. Reprints are printed in black ink on antique-white paper in 11" x 17" sheet music format and folded to 8-1/2" x 11". While the sheet music is an exact replica of the original, it is scaled to fit an 8-1/2" x 11" page and may be slightly larger or slightly smaller than the original publication.

Sheet music for reprint is prepared from music books and sheet music that are at least 75 years old. Many of our music books and sheet music were printed in the 1800's and are well over 100 years old. Our source music is almost always yellowed, torn, or taped. The reprint is prepared to look as much as possible like the original publication and whenever possible any marks or imperfections that may be on our library copy are removed. These music reprints can easily be read and played in normal light and have adequate copyright information to verify the copyright date and publisher. However, when pages are extremely yellowed, all of the yellowing cannot be removed and it may be necessary to leave a slight gray background in order to make the sheet music clear and readable.

Sheet music reprints are prepared to provide an accurate public domain music source for individuals and companies needing music for their products and projects. Our black and white reprints are not full-color glossy presentation sheet music as found in sheet music stores. However, the music and copyright information are clear, legible, and sturdy. These sheet music reprints provide a public domain source for legal purposes and a historical sheet music replica for a keepsake or gift.
