This CD contains every piece that Schumann wrote for solo piano.  Included are Album for the Young, Scenes from Childhood, Papillons, Carnaval, Waldscenen, the sonatas, and 3 works with orchestra. - over 800 pages of music.  Robert Alexander Schumann was born in Zwickau, Germany, in 1810 and died in Endenich, Germany, in 1856.

PUBLIC DOMAIN STATUS:  Copyright dates and publisher information have been removed from all of the selections on this CD.  A letter is included on the CD which states in part ". . . the files are derived from public domain music in editions that are in the public domain."  The publisher has confidently informed us that they have paid no royalties to reproduce any of the music, and that all included sheet music is in the public domain in the USA.  We have NOT specifically compared the sheet music on this CD with sheet music bearing a public domain copyright date.
